Installation Policy

Yale installation service is for products purchased from Authorize dealer (Retail and Online store) in Malaysia only

The price of SDL sold included the installation cost.

Dealer will fix appointment direct with customers using installation booking system after payment is made (or down payment is made)

According to the regulation of “Environmental Noise Limits and Control” from Natural Resources and Environment Ministry Malaysia, installation are not allowed for noisy construction work between 10pm to 7am on weekdays, or anytime on general holidays. However, our installation time slot is as below.
The Installation Slot are: Monday – Friday (AM: 9am – 1pm, PM: 1pm-5pm),
Saturday (AM: 9am – 1pm)

Customers are required to call to ASSA admin (603) 5651 7800 for cancellation or re-scheduling of installation appointment 3 (three) working days in advance.
Dealers need to send email to ASSA admin support.my@yalesmart.com for any changes made.

Reschedule appointment within 1 or 2 days before appointment, there will be a penalty charge of RM100 either to the dealer or customers.

There will be additional RM100 will apply on top of installation fee for Urgent installation (inform and install on the day itself).

The Installation system is only allowed to book appointment within 6 weeks (from present date). Customers are allowed to purchase SDL first and install on a future date when the house is ready.

If the installation fails due to the on-site environmental factors or change of lock model, ASSA ABLOY Malaysia will charge a fee of RM150 as "Arrive No Installation"

Warranty – please refer to end user warranty document provided.

We do provide 24/7 emergency on-site assistance for under and after warranty.

Yale installation services are exclusively available for Yale products purchased from authorized dealers (retail and online stores) within Malaysia.

The price of each Yale Smart Lock includes the standard installation fee.

After full or partial payment is made, the dealer will contact the customer directly to arrange installation using our official booking system.

In accordance with the Environmental Noise Limits and Control regulation by the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment Malaysia, noisy installation works are strictly prohibited:
- Between 10:00 PM and 7:00 AM on weekdays
- At any time on general/public holidays -
Customers must contact the ASSA ABLOY Customer Service Hub at +603 2707 8888 or Whatsapp +6017 823 8198 at least 3 working days in advance to cancel or reschedule an appointment. Dealers must notify ASSA ABLOY via email at info.my@assaabloy.com for any changes made.

Any rescheduling made within 1 to 2 days before the confirmed installation date will incur a RM100 penalty, payable by either the dealer or the customer.

For same-day installations (i.e., booking and installation on the same day), an additional fee of RM100 will apply on top of the standard installation charge.

The installation booking system allows appointments to be scheduled up to 6 weeks in advance from the current date. Customers may purchase their Smart Lock early and schedule installation at a later date when their premises are ready.

If installation cannot be completed due to on-site environmental issues or a last-minute change of lock model, a RM150 "Arrive No Installation" fee will be charged by ASSA ABLOY Opening Solutions Malaysia Sdn Bhd.
